Xiomara's weekly self evaluation

For this week i give myself an 8 because, i worked on assignments given in class,
made a new poster on eating disorders, also talked to my sponsor which contacted a helping center she had been part of. they provided us with information and surveys to give out to teenage girls.

Weekly Reflection (Diana)

This week I give myself an 8 because I tried to finish the things for the project but I did not finished them I feel like I could had done more. I have been working on the research but there still questions pending to answer and understand them better. Things are moving slow but progress has being developing. Hopefully, for the rest of the week I could go visit a center or clinic & start the experience stage.

Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia nervosa is a eating disorder. Is a fear of gaining weight so people starve thereselves to accomplish a thin body, but it could be dangerous sometimes it could lead to death. The person thinks they are fat when in reality they are very thin, this eating disorder deals with feelings and the mind. A person who suffers anorexia directs themselves to a perfect thin body. This eating disorder affects mostly teen girls although men can suffer from a eating disoder also. Some symptoms include:

- Underweight
- Fear to gain weight
- Refuse to stay at a normal weight
- The thought of being fat
- Obsessed with weight, food or image
- Excessive exercising

For last week I gaved myself a 9 because i cooperated alot with our project.
I finished my resources for the reasearch paper, talked to our sponsor and also
found a helpful book ( PURGE) that relates to our capstone.

For last week I gaved myself a 9 because there was a lot to do. I finished the resources for the research paper. I have been researching more about the topic and found a lot of important and helpful resources. I created a "to do" list and listed possible deadlines to keep in mind, have an organized planning.
